Hayley started with Bast Amron as a law clerk during her last year of law school and continuing to become the first associate the firm hired straight out of law school. Hayley concentrates her practice in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, and commercial litigation. Hayley has honed her skills under the mentorship of the firms’ partners and has developed a significant practice and reputation in the legal community. Hayley primarily represents bankruptcy trustees in their administration of Chapter 7 debtor cases, including all aspects of analyzing avenues of recovery, the sale of bankruptcy estate assets, and the pursuit of avoidance actions and other litigation claims. She also advises debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and interested parties in relation to their rights in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings and out of court proceedings, including workout negotiations. Hayley also represents fiduciaries in various capacities, most frequently, assignees in state court assignments for the benefit of creditors.
