Fort Lauderdale, FL – March 2022 – Stok, Kon + Braverman is pleased to announce the forthcoming addition of Tuvia Sandler as an attorney specializing in bankruptcy and corporate restructuring beginning April 1, 2022. Mr. Sandler will join the firm from White & Case’s Miami office where he worked as an associate in their financial restructuring and insolvency group.
Mr. Sandler brings with him extensive experience in large chapter 11 cases in both debtor and creditor advocacy. The cases he has worked on include several high profile debtor representations such as The Hertz Corporation and the Boy Scouts of America in their bankruptcy proceedings in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. On the creditor side, Tuvia has represented financial institutions in the Puerto Rico financial restructuring and chapter 15 cross-border proceedings, creditors in retail and oil and gas restructurings, along with many other creditors’ rights matters. He is admitted to practice in both Florida and New York.
With the addition of Mr. Sandler, the firm looks to expand its presence in the South Florida creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and restructuring market and to build upon its history of successful bankruptcy law activities. Many of the firm’s commercial litigation clients require creditors’ rights representation, and there is a growing need in the South Florida legal community for bankruptcy and insolvency restructuring expertise. Tuvia joining the firm will significantly deepen the firm’s capacity to better service its clientele seeking representation in the creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and restructuring space.
