Position Description:
The office of Greenspoon Marder in West Palm Beach, Florida is looking for a Bankruptcy Paralegal/Legal Assistant for their bankruptcy practice group, preferably with 7 + years of experience.
Practice Description:
The Greenspoon Marder West Palm Beach bankruptcy practice group focuses on matters involving the representation of bankruptcy trustees, for which the shareholder involved with that group is a panel trustee, as well as mostly representing the interests of creditors. It is a litigation intensive practice with excellent writing experience and skills being a mandatory requirement.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate must have experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal/Legal Assistant for a bankruptcy shareholder/panel trustee with trustee/creditor litigation experience with ability to electronically file within bankruptcy courts, familiarity with all aspects of complying with filing requirements and deadlines within adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court, including ability to draft pleadings and orders. Must be able to multi-task, have knowledge of calendaring and keeping track of all deadlines within bankruptcy estates. Experience with preparing and responding to extensive discovery will also be necessary.
