September 8 – ABI Webinar

The American Bankruptcy Institute will be holding a free Webinar on Sept. 8 from 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. ET on how chapter 12 could provide financial relief for Gulf Coast commercial fishing operations suffering from the effects of the BP oil spill. With support from the Louisiana State Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference, and the Bankruptcy Bar Associations for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida, a panel of expert practitioners,  a chapter 12 trustee and a bankruptcy judge will examine how chapter 12 might be utilized to help commercial fishing operators who are considering filing for bankruptcy.
